Crown Apple Old Fashion


  • Add 3–5 dashes of angostura bitters to the glass. (For every time you heard baby shark today or your kid cried)
  • Using either a Y-peeler or a paring knife, peel off a thin layer of the apple skin place the peel in the glass with the skin side facing down
  • With a muddler, muddle the apple peel with the bitters a few times
  • Next, add in 1/2 teaspoon of the simple syrup. If a sweeter drink is preferred, add another 1/2 teaspoon of the simple syrup (the Crown Apple is already sweet so I don’t put much simple syrup)
  • Place the ice cube in the glass
